Here at Primo IT we’re proud sponsors of Shepshed Dynamo Football Club, and we need your help!

The club are aiming to raise the number of members of the 100 club, with the ultimate aim to gain 100.

The cost of the 100 club is £10.00 per month and there are currently approximately 20 members. There used to be a lot more but people move/pass on unfortunately.

If they can achieve 100 members then that would pay the rental of the ground for the year!

This is one of the clubs’ largest bill’s and it would help to use the money in other areas to continue the progression of the club.

As an incentive, 10% of the income will be put into a prize draw on a monthly basis.

The more members there are, the bigger the prize!

If you’d be interested in joining the 100 Club then please get in touch with Mick at mick@primoit.co.uk or micks@shepsheddynamo.co.uk,  or head down to one of the next games.

It's Pancake Day! Here's some useful (maybe) facts

This evening, everyone will be chowing down on Pancakes, some with lemon & sugar (my personal favourite), down to chocolate & strawberries, yuk!

Here's some facts to fill your day with;
  1. The tradition of eating pancakes on Shrove Tuesday is nearly 1000 years old.

  2. The first recorded pancake race was in Olney, Buckinghamshire in 1445.

  3. The largest number of pancakes tossed in the shortest amount of time in the UK is 349 tosses in 2 minutes (Dean Gould at Felixstowe, Suffolk, 14 January 1995).

  4. The longest race in the quickest time was held in Melbourne, Australia. Jan Stickland covered 384m in 59.5 seconds on 19 February 1985.

  5. The largest pancake ever made and flipped measured 15.01m wide, 2.5cm deep and weighed 3 tonnes (Rochdale, Greater Manchester, August 1994).

  6. It is customary in France to touch the handle of the frying pan and make a wish while the pancake is turned, holding a coin in one hand.

  7. Maple Syrup was originally a sweet drink, discovered by the Algonquin Indians who collected sap from Canadian sugar maple trees and then boiled it to produce 1 litre of pure Maple Syrup from 40 litres of sap.

How do you eat yours?

It's not easy being Green

With everything from spam mail coming through your door every day to wasteful, and exuberant packaging on every day food items, it's no wonder we're being told to fix up and look sharp when it comes to recycling, and being 'green'.

Being green ultimately means trying to cut down on your carbon footprint, using less energy, less of the worlds resources, and being super efficient where necessary.

Why not Increase your green credentials this month with this ultra low power, high capacity eco hard drive; Seagate 2TB Barracuda Green SATA-600 64MB at just £82.33 ex VAT.

With hard drive prices at an all time high due to floods in Thailand late last year, now’s the perfect time to grab yourself a bargain.
